At the harp center, there are many friends from home and abroad who come to try out and buy harps. Whenever we introduce the harp to everyone and chat with them, most of them can feel a sense of anticipation and fear. They hope to own such a beautiful instrument, but at the same time they are concerned about the price of the harp. (Please refer to: Camac French Factory Tour , where you can understand the value of the harp through the production process of the harp)

Perhaps the price of a harp is the biggest factor that everyone will consider before buying a harp, but we see more often that after buying the harp, these friends generally have some common situations that slowly emerge, and then they all say: "Oh my God, why didn't I think about this before buying the harp?!" So after considering for a while, we decided to write this article to talk to you about what other conditions you can consider when buying a harp, and also share about the after-sales service that the Harp Center provides to friends who purchase harps, so that everyone can embark on this beautiful road of harp playing more clearly and more efficiently!

Musical instruments are meant to be played, so every instrument has consumable parts and components, and the harp is no exception.

For a harp, the most notable consumables are the multiple strings on the instrument. The strings may break due to certain factors, such as climate change, humidity, playing, maintenance, etc. Therefore, almost every harp-playing friend needs to know how to replace the strings themselves.

Friends who have bought pianos at the Harp Center are believed to have come back to learn how to replace such consumables on the piano. For some, we will even provide technical guidance on replacing consumables when they buy the piano, and there will be discounts for purchasing these harp accessories (such as strings) in the future!

A large part of the harp is made up of precision metal devices, which are related to the sound of the music we play. However, over the years of playing, factors such as vibrations from playing or pedaling can pull on all the strings with a tension of up to two tons, causing the device to slightly "shift", or even cause the harp to have problems more serious than shifting.

Some simple consumable parts may be something we can replace by ourselves through learning, but some of the more sophisticated metal devices on the harp require repair and adjustment by trained and experienced professional harp technicians.

Every year, our center invites professional harp technicians from CAMAC HARPS to Taiwan to provide harp repair and maintenance services, and provide the most favorable prices to friends who purchase harps from the center.

In addition, we hold maintenance seminars from time to time so that everyone can have a deeper understanding of their own harps and improve our ability to maintain our harps on a daily basis.
