About CAMAC
The new generation of CAMAC harps was founded by Joël Garnier and launched in Europe in 1972, making it the only manufacturer of concert harps in France.
The current director, Jakez François, is dedicated to pursuing excellence in fine craftsmanship while continuously innovating in nearly perfect instrument technology. For professional technicians, this results in harps that require minimal maintenance and feature exclusive revolutionary technologies that extend their lifespan.
The craftsmanship of CAMAC harps goes far beyond what is generally considered improvable. Every component, from the smallest screw to the entire instrument, has been redesigned to address common issues found in earlier harps.
CAMAC harps maintain a very stable tuning, and the pedal mechanisms operate smoothly and quietly, making them easy to adjust and calibrate. The uniquely designed electronic harps also boast a stylish, streamlined appearance and state-of-the-art sound expansion technology.
All CAMAC harps are made in France, using wood sourced from sustainably managed forests. They do not use any polyester finishes and strictly adhere to regulations aimed at reducing solvent use.
